We’re excited to announce the tapeout of our latest data converter: a dual 750MS/s, 11-bit ADC, built on 28HPC+ TSMC technology. This chip is the perfect counterpart to our 1GS/s DAC series, making it an ideal fit for modern mixed-signal systems.

What sets this ADC apart?

  • Single 1V Supply: The entire chip runs on just 1 V. 
  • Pipeline Architecture: High-speed, high-accuracy 11-bit resolution.
  • Flexible Clocking: The two ADCs can be operated:
    • In phase (0°/0°)
    • As IQ pairs (0°/90°)
    • Or time-interleaved (0°/180°) for even higher effective sampling rates.
  • Fine-Grained Phase Control: Clock phase control between the 2 ADCs with 150 fs step size to mitigate timing mismatch.
  • True 1V Parallel Digital Output: Full-swing, no level shifting needed.
  • Built-in Analog: on chip current reference and band gap that can be shared among multiple chips thanks to a dedicated pad.
  • 2x2mm area, 
  • ESD protection at ADC input not limiting the > 1GHz input bandwidth 
  • Input clock can be AC or DC coupled
  • Full power-down functionality of all blocks
