 CT ∑-D ADC: One-of-a-Kind Fully Frequency Agile Digitizer

This low-noise, wide-band, continuous-time Sigma-Delta (ΣΔ) ADC uses a fully frequency-agile input clock, allowing for flexible bandwidths between 7.5MHz up to 30MHz. This level of versatility is powered by an on-chip calibration engine operating in the background. The IP operates on a single 0.9V power supply only.

Ultra-compact SAR ADC Lane

The 32 GS/s ADC is designed to achieve high sampling rates, where multiple lanes digitize the analog input consecutively. To minimize the number of lanes (N) while maximising each lane's conversion rate, we propose an ultra-compact 10-bit lane operating at > 700 MS/s.

6G Digitizers:

8GS/s 12-bit ADC 

The robust 12-bit resolution digital-to-analog converter has a 2-GSPS sampling rate. This ADC operates on a dual 1.2 / 0.9 V power supply.

The time-interleaved pipeline architecture guarantees best-in-class spectral purity compared to the SAR ADC design approach.

10GS/s 12-bit DAC

This current-steering DAC employs an ultra-compact layout of MSB segment (8 µm). Hence, the parasitic output capacitance is minimised. Given the On-Chip 50 Ω termination, the output full-scale voltage is maintained across process, voltage and temperature.
